Inguinal hernia repair is one of the commonest general surgical procedures performed worldwide. Laparoscopic repair is associated with faster recovery, less post-operative pain and comparable rates of recurrence. Using the stapling devices increases post Trans Abdominal Pre Peritoneal (TAPP) chronic groin pain.
